This is my second pair of Chillout Competition breeches, I loved the first pair so much that I wore them to death pretty quickly, so I was excited when Chillout brought these back having changed manufacturers and ugraded fabrics. Chillout were kind enough to send me a new pair to try and I promised to do a review for them once they'd been thoroughly tried and tested.
Chillout didn't let me down, these are gorgeous!!! They arrived well packaged and I could feel the difference straight away when I opened them. I liked the soft feel of the suede effect seat I still love the pretty silver stitching and embroidery, and the elastic at the ankles instead of scratchy velcro is a bonus I think. I'm normally between a size 8 and 10 and the pair I have is a 10 which fitted well but I'd say if you're between sizes you could possibly go down a size in these, especially with the comfortable 4 way stretch to ensure a good fit. It depends on how tight you like to wear them!!!
I've been wearing the breeches to lessons and competitions for almost six weeks now and as they're white they've been through the wash a good few times (carefully following the instructions on the label). Again Chillout didn't let me down!!! The breeches still look gorgeous, pure white and more than smart enough to wear to the BD Team Quest Regional finals next month. I'm confident that this pair will last and last and I think I'll be investing in a second pair at some point soon to wear when these are stuck in the wash!!!
If you're looking for a reasonably priced, good quality pair of competition breeches that fit well and will last, you should look at Chillout Horsewear. I love them!!!
