Star is my "grey man", and he really is one of those horses who just gets better every time you see him. He tries so hard to please and is happiest when he knows he's done a good job. He is also absolutely, unapologetically food obsessed and would probably sell his granny for a treat!
Behind the cheeky personality is a horse who has worked his way steadily up through the levels with me and continues to surprise me with what he can do. He is now competing at Medium and, hopefully, we'll be making the step up to Advanced Medium over the winter.

Dave is my sensitive soul. He is incredibly intelligent, feels everything, and can produce flashes of absolute brilliance when it all comes together. He is also, despite being a very large horse, basically a sofa companion in waiting. If he had his way, he'd come home, put his feet up and watch chick flicks with you!
Dave is still developing and learning to trust his own ability, but watching him grow in confidence has been one of the most rewarding parts of bringing him through. He is now competing at Novice, with the aim of stepping up to Elementary over the winter when he gets over his Bambi on ice stage!

Ella has now retired from competition and begun her new career as a broodmare. She competed successfully through Advanced Medium and continued to perform at a high level after losing an eye to uveitis, an achievement that says as much about her character as her competition record does.
